Fitness Safety
Before beginning
Consult an appropriate healthcare professional before beginning or changing exercise if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or postpartum, are recovering from injury or surgery, take medication that may affect exercise, or are unsure whether exercise is safe for you.
Stop for concerning symptoms
Stop exercising and seek appropriate help for chest pain, fainting, severe shortness of breath, sudden weakness, loss of coordination, sharp or worsening pain, or other unusual symptoms. Call emergency services for a possible emergency.
Pain and soreness
DayMatched can adapt training based on areas marked sore. It does not diagnose pain or prescribe rehabilitation. Do not continue a movement that feels painful, unstable, or wrong.
Safe conditions
Use stable equipment and surfaces, follow equipment instructions, account for outdoor traffic and weather, select manageable resistance, and use sufficient space.
Results
Individual responses differ. No specific body, fitness, appearance, or health outcome is guaranteed.
